The beach hut in the crows nest
The Beach hut with its nautical theme is closer to the farmhouse and accessed by fairly level ground on a path around the orchard, and passed the polytunnel. The decking area has views to Bigbury Bay over the fields where the horses happily graze and you can collect breakfast eggs from the nearby hen houses if the ladies are laying. It has its own compost loo, open air hot shower, fire pit and two ring stove and grill. Again no hot tub, mod cons or electricity, but bedding, towels and all you need to cook, eat, and sleep close to nature.

THE shepherds hut in the oaks nest
Nestling under a trinity of ancient Oaks, The shepherds hut is in an area of the farm adjoining the beautiful Andrew's Wood Nature Reserve. Accessed by a magical woodland path and over a little footbridge, it is comfortably furnished with a double bed and has its own outdoor shower, compost loo and camp fire under a parachute.
A wonderful place to relax and retreat from the outside world, surrounded by over 100 acres of biodiverse habitat and only a few miles from the beautiful River Avon and the wonderful sandy beaches of Bantham and Bigbury, it is truly a place to get away from it all...
Or maybe come with friends and pitch extra tents and enjoy an evening around the campfire in the company of owls and a host of other wildlife.
This is a very simple set up similar to camping, but without needing a tent, no hot tubs, no electricity and no consumerist luxury, just nature, the stars and all you need in the way of bedding, towels, calor gas stove, crockery cutlery pans etc. Bring yourself, toiletries, clothes and food. You will have the Oaks Nest area to yourself. Please no dogs and be prepared to park and walk around the orchard and through a short woodland path which may be muddy.
