THE shepherds hut in the oaks nest
Nestling under a trinity of ancient Oaks, The shepherds hut is in an area of the farm adjoining the beautiful Andrew's Wood Nature Reserve. Accessed by a magical woodland path and over a little footbridge, it is comfortably furnished with a double bed and has its own outdoor shower, compost loo and camp fire under a parachute.
A wonderful place to relax and retreat from the outside world, surrounded by over 100 acres of biodiverse habitat and only a few miles from the beautiful River Avon and the wonderful sandy beaches of Bantham and Bigbury, it is truly a place to get away from it all...
Or maybe come with friends and pitch extra tents and enjoy an evening around the campfire in the company of owls and a host of other wildlife.

The beach hut in the crows nest
The Beach hut with its nautical theme is closer to the farmhouse and accessed by fairly level ground on a path around the orchard, where you will meet our rescued Kune Kune pigs, Dave and Margot . The decking area has views to Bigbury Bay over the fields where the horses happily graze and you can collect breakfast eggs from the nearby hen houses. It has its own compost loo, open air shower, fire pit and two ring stove and grill.
Camping... eco tourism shouldn't cost the earth
The farm is on 45 acres of permanent pasture and new woodland. There are areas for wild camping in the Summer. There is parking by the drive but no vehicle access to any of the camp areas. We have wheel barrows and can help with luggage, on rare occasions our ponies will help with their carts!
